|The FIA tries to reduce costs for the teams with new regulations.
The most important change is the rule that every driver has to drive the whole weekend with just one motor.
The speed limit in the pits was raised to 100 kph (except in Monaco where it stays at 60 kph), which shortens the pitsops somewhat.
The qualifying is dominated by Ferrari, but behind them, the picture changes in comparison to last year: Renault and BAR seem to have closed up to Williams while McLaren dissapoints completely with grid places 10 and 12.
The race itself is a seemingly easy double victory by Ferrari, Alonso follows in front of both Williams.
